Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service at a Chevron Station, handling POS transactions and cash, preparing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and safety, following loss-prevention and sanitation procedures, promoting store specials and programs, and ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be able to work various shifts, communicate in English, and comply with age-restriction laws and local certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age (California and Oregon), 21+ for Washington locations
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers/coworkers
- Available to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lift, push, and move products with proper technique
- Experience in cooking/restaurant environment acceptable or preferred
- Must be able to comply with local regulations and safety procedures
