Job Summary
Customer Service Representative at Chevron Stations Inc. at 3580 Santa Maria Way, Santa Maria, CA. Provide exceptional guest service and operate POS equipment for retail and fuel sales; maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation; ensure store cleanliness and food preparation/safety; promote store specials and monitor product levels; comply with safety, security, and CSI policies; follow proper sanitation procedures and support foodservice operations (KKC products) while handling age-restricted products as required. Requires English proficiency, ability to work varied hours including early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Some locations may require food handling certificates. Must be at least 18 (CA/OR) or 21 (WA) depending on location; compensation includes full-time/part-time shifts with benefits and education reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient in English to understand CSI policies and communicate with customers and coworkers
- Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California and Oregon; at least 21 in Washington
- Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred
