Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service at Chevron Stations, greeting customers and handling retail transactions accurately and safely. Responsibilities include operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining cash drawers, reconciling sales, stocking and cleaning the store, preparing food and beverages, promoting store specials, ensuring food safety and sanitation, following safety and loss-prevention procedures, and complying with company policies. Requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, flexibility to work varied shifts (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays), and appropriate food handling certificates where required by location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to communicate with customers and coworkers
- Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations)
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in California and Oregon; at least 21 years of age to work in Washington; 21+ for Graveyard shift and management positions
