Job Summary
Provide courteous, high-quality guest service at a California Chevron Station, handling retail and fuel POS transactions, cash handling, and merchandising while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Responsible for food preparation and service of Krispy Krunchy Chicken products, ensuring proper sanitation, food safety practices, and compliance with company policies. Must greet customers, process payments accurately, balance and reconcile cash drawers, promote store programs, observe local age-verification rules for restricted products, and collaborate with coworkers and vendors. Role requires flexibility across a variety of hours and shift types (full/part-time availability), ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to maintaining CSI’s standards and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand CSI policies, safety training, and job instructions, and to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers on work-related matters
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgement
- Ability to work both independently and in team settings
- Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law (in specific locations only)
- Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred
