Job Summary
Support 2–4 Outside Sales Representatives as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing orders, add-ons, credits, and special requests while proactively communicating out-of-stock items and substitutions. Assist with new account setup, onboarding, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring accuracy of entered and outgoing orders. Analyze reports on account profitability, gross profit per drop, and penetration opportunities to identify trends and risks, then share insights with the sales team. Maintain responsibility for select key accounts, ensuring service levels and pricing accuracy, and escalate issues or irregularities to appropriate team members. Document complaints and assist with quarterly reporting, provide backup coverage during absences, and attend sales initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School Diploma
- Prior experience in foodservice distribution, inside sales, customer service, or sales support
- Strong understanding of foodservice products, categories, and customer dynamics
- Comfortable working with reports, data analysis, and profitability metrics
- Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Data entry and 10-key experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
