Job Summary
Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships and process transactions including check cashing, money transfers, and payments while maintaining store appearance and security protocols. Enter and maintain customer information with precision into a Point of Sale system, manage daily call campaigns, and assist with account management and collections. Perform duties outside the office such as vehicle appraisals, store errands, and community events, while adhering to all compliance policies and local regulations. Engage in ongoing training and navigate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to accurately enter data
- Proficiency in using phones
- Proficiency in using POS system
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in using other computer systems
- At least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet physical demands of remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time
- Ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move inside and outside of the store
- Ability to operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance
- Availability for weekends
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in check cashing
- Experience in document verification
- Experience in money order processing
- Prior cash handling experience
- Prior cash drawer/vault management experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
