Job Summary
Process customer orders accurately and manage the full order life cycle, including placement, confirmation, changes, and fulfillment communication. Verify shipping, billing, pricing, and purchase order details while entering special instructions and updating customer files. Support sales staff in the field, resolve customer complaints, and process product returns according to prescribed procedures. Audit purchase orders for pricing, quantity, terms, and special shipping instructions, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory policies. Communicate regularly with internal and external customers to address various issues.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or similar discipline
- Must have the capacity to problem solve
- Must have the capacity to work independently
- Must consistently demonstrate strong listening skills
- Must consistently demonstrate strong speaking skills
- Must consistently demonstrate strong decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to have on-call hours
- Willingness to work after hours
- Keeping calm when on customer calls
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems
- Experience with team collaboration tools
Desired Qualifications
- Chemical Distribution or Manufacturing is a plus
