Job Summary
Provide compassionate, bilingual customer service support for individuals navigating complex healthcare programs via telephone, email, web chats, and written letters. Handle basic and routine inquiries using computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Assist callers with filling out online applications and submit electronically to plan providers while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policies. Follow standard operating procedures including HIPAA rules, adhere to turnaround times, and provide timely responses using pre-scripted materials. Refer calls to senior staff or leads as required and report system problems for appropriate parties. Participate in internal CCO and Tier I Claims training to complete role certification. Work on-site in Riverview or Tampa, FL, with a preference for evening and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of customer service experience
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish (speak and read)
- Ability to work within established turnaround times
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize simultaneous tasks
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Participation and certification in internal CCO training
- Participation and certification in internal Tier I Claims Part A, Claims Part B, and Claims DME training
- On-site work location (Riverview or Tampa, FL)
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work scheduled holidays
