Job Summary
Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships and process transactions including check cashing, money transfers, and payments with accuracy. Enter and maintain customer information into a Point of Sale system while assisting in account management and collections. Perform duties outside the office such as vehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing, and uphold compliance with all relevant laws and store security protocols. Maintain a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week with regular in-person attendance including weekends. This role supports the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, one of the largest consumer specialty finance organizations in the U.S., providing access to short-term financial services across 24 states.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to accurately enter data
- Proficiency in using phones
- Proficiency in using POS system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in using other computer systems
- At least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet physical demands of this position
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time
- Ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move inside and outside of the store
- Ability to operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance
- Availability for weekends
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
