Job Summary
Handle customer product pricing inquiries and orders, as well as processing orders, quotes, credits, returns, and related requests. Communicate directly with customers or sales representatives by telephone, electronically, or face to face; obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle inquiries promptly; answer basic technical inquiries and direct advanced technical requests to the appropriate resource. Manage customer accounts, assist with damaged or mis-shipped shipments, maintain records of interactions and transactions, coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors, monitor product stocking levels and inventory turns, and contribute to efficient manufacturing schedules that optimize cost, customer service, and machine utilization. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma and experience in a manufacturing/electrical customer service environment; proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years business experience in a manufacturing or electrical customer service environment preferred
- Computer literacy and experience with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage a variety of concurrent tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- Time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Effective decision making and problem solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong initiative and adaptable to change
- Must be able to thrive in a team environment
