Job Summary
Answer incoming calls by the third ring, operate a multiple-line system, and route messages for veterinarians and staff. Follow hospital guidelines to schedule appointments, handle routine and non-routine medical questions, triage urgent-care patients, and communicate with the medical team. Complete admission forms, obtain medical histories, triage urgent cases, and enter charges into the computer system while double-checking entries. Process cash, checks, and credit card payments, present discharge instructions and medications, and review total amounts due with clients. Adhere to all policies, dress codes, and grooming standards while maintaining a warm, professional impression. Requires 1 year of medical customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a Customer Service Representative in a medical setting
- Excellent empathy

- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
