Job Summary
Answer calls and emails promptly, schedule appointments based on client needs and veterinarian availability, and use technology to send reminders and confirmations. Greet clients and pets warmly, gather medical information through active listening, and direct complex inquiries to the medical team while demonstrating empathy. Update client and patient records in the practice management system, process billing transactions including insurance claims, and provide accurate post-visit instructions. Maintain organized records of communications and assist with daily practice operations to ensure a welcoming environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior customer service experience
- Basic proficiency with technology, including scheduling software and online communication platforms
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds independently
