Job Summary
Onsite Customer Service Representative responsible for handling inbound and outbound sales and customer support calls, data entry, and account maintenance to support ThompsonGas’s growth. Duties include probing questions to uncover sales opportunities, addressing customer inquiries and issues (pricing, billing, products, new account setup), maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring accurate order status updates. Role emphasizes high-level customer service, professionalism, and the ability to upsell products in a fast-paced environment. Requires 3+ years of customer service experience, a degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry, and flexibility to work overtime and weekends. Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Customer Service experience (Call center experience preferred)
- Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell products in highly competitive environment a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with customers
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry skills
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work OT and weekends as needed during busy season
