Job Summary
Manage order intake, customer communication, and quoting while coordinating distribution, shipping documentation, and final approval of production orders. Liaise with outside departments for timely delivery completion and serve as the funnel for new SOPs, handling customer complaints by involving quality immediately for quality-related issues. Maintain documentation by tracking interactions and verifying purchase orders, providing regular updates to customers with increased frequency for high-volume orders. This 6-12 month temp-to-perm role at Shawmut Corporation's Park Avenue Technical Center in Burlington, North Carolina requires working on-site 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm with remote availability until 10pm on weeknights and every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Must be available for on-site 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (including a 1 hour lunch)
- Must be available remotely as needed until 10pm on weeknights
- Must work every other weekend, potentially a full 8 hours or more on Saturdays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with CRM and/or MRP system preferred
- Textile process and manufacturing experience is a plus
