Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services, using smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels, and prepare rental invoices. Install hitches and trailer wiring, fill propane, and answer questions to educate customers regarding services. Work mornings between 6:30am and 12:00pm with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Drive a forklift and operate box trucks and trailers. Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a good driving record
- Willingness and ability to work mornings between the hours of 6:30am-12:00pm
- Reliable transportation to work
- Working smart phone
- Ability to operate box trucks and trailers
- Ability to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- No use of nicotine products
