Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact between TSS and its customers, ensuring standardized presentation of quotes and adherence to customer quote policies. Direct communication via telephone and email to provide accurate information on pricing, inventory, and order status while processing complaints and facilitating timely purchase order acceptance. Manage data entry for quotes and sales orders, arrange technical support by coordinating with internal departments, and assist outside plant sales personnel in generating new business. Support engineering on RFQ follow-ups and maintain updated sales materials. Actively support Quality, Safety, and Environmental programs. Requires 2+ years of customer service experience, JDE proficiency, and ITAR clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years related customer service experience with manufacturer or distributor
- Experience working under ISO quality requirements
- Experience working with JDE
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectively
- Ability to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performance
- Ability to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlines
- Willingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakes
- Desire to delight both customers and coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriately
