Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing courteous and prompt service to all internal and external customers, managing inquiries regarding review statuses, and ensuring customer confidentiality. The role requires the ability to prioritize requests, escalate calls appropriately, input call data for tracking, and manage outbound communications as necessary. Continuous improvement in service quality through identifying enhancement opportunities is also a key responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual preferred
- Ability to provide courteous and prompt service
- Ability to research provider questions regarding reviews/authorizations
- Ability to prioritize and address requests professionally
- Understanding of when to escalate a call to a supervisor
- Ability to enter call data for tracking
- Initiate outbound calls as necessary
- Ability to provide telephone line coverage within contract parameters
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve service and work processes
