Job Summary
Customer Service Representative in the Managed Care Department who screens non-insured patients, assists with public health coverage applications and enrollment, provides insurance education, and engages in outreach. Responsibilities include acting as liaison between clients and clinics, assisting with program applications, scheduling, promoting services, maintaining records, advocating for customers to access care, and supporting department goals. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred; requires high school diploma with preferred AA/BA in Social Services and 1 year of healthcare-related customer service; CPR/BLS within 90 days of hire; full-time position in Tacoma, WA; benefits and staff development offered.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduation; AA or BA in Social Services is preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Second language is highly preferred
- BLS CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR
