Job Summary

Customer Service Representative – Part Time role at Cubby’s focusing on friendly, attentive in-store customer service beyond basic cashier tasks. Responsibilities include greeting customers, getting to know customers by name, moving quickly to provide fast service, suggesting additional purchases, and inviting return visits. Daily duties span cleaning and housekeeping (inside and outside areas), stocking and merchandising, operating the sales counter and related systems (POS, lottery, money order machines), attending store meetings, and maintaining professional image. Must be able to work in a team or alone, communicate effectively with the Store Manager and customers, and meet physical requirements such as lifting 25 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a refrigerated environment. Language requirement: English.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be physically able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for up to eight hours
  • Must be able to bend and balance on step stool or ladder
  • Must be able to work in a cooler at 32 degrees
  • Must be able to speak, read and write English and communicate with customers in English
  • Must be able to perform basic math
  • Able to work alone and on a team
  • Able to multi-task and stay busy between customers
  • Dependable and punctual

  • Willing to learn and help associates and customers
