Job Summary
Provide warm, professional greeting to patients; manage registration, check-in/check-out; verify demographics and insurance; collect copayments and payments; schedule follow-up appointments; answer inquiries; assist with understanding financial responsibility; verify insurance eligibility; promote MyChart enrollment; obtain patient signatures and maintain HIPAA compliance; support front-end office workflows, including scanning and downtime procedures; uphold service-excellence culture and organizational values; demonstrate professionalism to patients, providers, and staff; contribute to departmental productivity and quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service-related position required
- Minimum of one (1) year of medical office, registration, scheduling, customer service, call center, or healthcare-related experience preferred
