Customer Service Rep (CSR) - PART TIME

Part-time Customer Service Representative at Excel Propane based in Paw Paw, MI. Primary duties include customer service for propane customers, answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers, processing payments, propane orders, and service requests, recording customer information in the software, onboarding new customers, providing quotes for new service and setting up new accounts, reconciling daily deposits, printing and mailing invoices/statements, and performing general office tasks as needed. The office hours are 8am–5pm with a seasonal schedule: 2–3 full days per week in summer and 2–4 full days per week in Fall-Winter-Spring. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer-focused service; requires background check and MVR clearance and offers an additional SEP-IRA after 2 years, along with PTO and sick time benefits.
