Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative acts as the primary local customer service leader for Northern Air Cargo, coordinating customer inquiries regarding cargo acceptance, tracking, and delivery. Responsibilities include building relationships with local shippers and community stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting local philanthropic efforts. Requires a customer-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage priorities independently. A high school diploma is necessary, with preference for candidates holding additional education in business or aviation, along with three years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Local residency in Barrow, Alaska required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years of customer service, operations, or community-facing experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in air cargo, logistics, transportation, or aviation station operations preferred.
- Experience supporting or coordinating local community events, volunteering, or philanthropic initiatives preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
