Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and the walk-in cooler, and prepare product for service. Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork while maintaining daily cleaning of equipment and the facility. Handle bulk product deliveries, unload cases up to 50 pounds, and carry large cans and trays of dough. Make correct monetary change, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Work in temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, perform repetitive tasks under stress, and navigate varying weather conditions when removing trash.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years of age or older
- Food Handlers certification
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
