Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, and prepare product. Receive and process telephone and in-person orders while communicating verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers. Clean equipment and facility daily, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Perform outside tasks under varying weather conditions and handle exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500 degrees. Training and orientation provided on the job.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
