Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery to storage, and prepare products while receiving and processing telephone orders. Take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility daily. Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck, carry large cans and pizza trays, and drive to deliver pizzas within the designated area. Navigate stairs and climb ladders to change prices and perform maintenance. Work in varying temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, handling hot surfaces up to 500 degrees and exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust. Perform repetitive tasks requiring accurate math, precise motor coordination, and the ability to work under stress while communicating verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work along and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
