Job Summary
Customer Service Rep at 876 Geary Street. Core duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, and daily cleaning of equipment and facility. On-the-job orientation and training provided. Needs strong math skills for making correct monetary change, clear verbal and written communication to process orders over phone and in person, and basic computer/ touchscreen order entry. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to ~50 pounds with occasional climbing, and exposure to varying store conditions and temperatures. Delivers service as part of hourly store team, with emphasis on accuracy, speed, and quality control, and requires the ability to work well with others under stressful conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
