Job Summary
Answer phones, enter pizza orders into computers, and learn to prepare product from start to finish. Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Process telephone and in-person orders while accurately handling monetary change. Perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and deal with the general public. Handle bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds using a hand truck.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- The ability to work under stress
- The ability to deal with people
- The ability to make judgements and decisions
- Ability to lift bulk product deliveries
- Ability to unload deliveries using a hand truck
- Ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
