Customer Service (Plant) - Specialist, Customer Accounts

The Customer Account Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for customers, managing order processing from receipt through delivery; ensure accuracy and timeliness of order data and proactively communicate changes or delays to customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include acting as the primary contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries about orders, shipments, and product availability; maintaining positive relationships to support long-term partnerships; collaborating with production, quality control, and logistics to meet customer requirements; maintaining accurate records and generating periodic reports on order status, delivery timelines, and inventory needs; identifying and resolving order-related issues, escalating when necessary; participating in customer meetings and production planning sessions; supporting continuous improvement initiatives; assisting with new account onboarding; and adapting duties by location. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, ability to manage order details, ERP/order management system proficiency, cross-functional teamwork, data reporting, and organizational abilities.
