Job Summary
Customer Service responsibilities include processing mail and Western Union orders, selling money orders and utility-related services, handling check cashing, and assisting customers with a friendly, efficient interaction. Employee duties also cover weighing postal packages, processing lottery and money-order transactions, selling hunting and fishing licenses, operating the postal and intercom systems, and performing related store tasks to maintain a positive customer experience. Knowledge/skills required include arithmetic with fractions, decimals, and percentages; ability to file, post, and copy data; basic customer-direction and problem-solving abilities; and physical capability to perform medium-duty work (up to 50 pounds occasionally). Education requirement is high school or equivalent; the role is part-time with wage range $11.50-$14.40 per hour, contingent on experience.
