Job Summary
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, resolving customer issues efficiently with a focus on first-call resolution. Research and coordinate with other departments for complex inquiries, accurately documenting all interactions and claims while protecting customer privacy. Utilize the knowledge base and training materials to answer questions and follow established procedures, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction. Stay current with training, meetings, and process updates while maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to type at least 20 WPM
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows OS
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills
- A customer-first mindset: empathetic, patient, and responsive
- Team-oriented with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
- Must be able to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer
- Must be able to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in customer service, tech support, sales, chat, or admin roles
- Experience in a contact center or government-related work
