Job Summary
Oversees daily retail operations of the Goodwill store in Walnut Creek, leads and develops Retail Sales Associates, and drives achievement of sales goals. Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of team members; ensures customer and donor service, de-escalates issues, maintains store standards, security, health and safety, and proper inventory/ banking procedures. Executes operations plans to meet profit and revenue targets, reconciles daily paperwork, and coordinates store transfers as needed. Builds and retains a high-performing team, delivers exceptional customer experiences, maintains store appearance aligned with the Goodwill brand, and supports company policies and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- One-year work experience in Retail Management
- One-year customer service experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
