Job Summary

Customer Service Manager overseeing the fleet maintenance program at the Lancaster, NY location. Responsible for directing diesel technicians, maintaining high customer-service performance, and ensuring safety at the branch. Key duties include supervising and coordinating customer service activities for a dedicated fleet; scheduling work in the shop; closing repair orders to maximize truck availability; overseeing shipping/receiving and branch inventory; handling HR activities; conducting weekly client performance reviews and timely handling of complaints; maintaining client-based reports; managing branch KPIs and budget; ensuring OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance; implementing continuous improvement initiatives (6S); and enforcing health and safety procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or 4–5 years related fleet management experience), strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred). Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; OR four or five years related fleet management experience
  • Mechanical background with formal education and/or experience required
  • Valid State Driver's License
  • NY state inspection License (preferred)
  • CNG certification (preferred)
  • Class A CDL (preferred)
  • Experience supervising employees; interviewing, hiring, training; planning, assigning and directing work; performance appraisal; conflict resolution
