Job Summary
Greet customers in person or on the phone, determine their needs, and provide guidance while managing vehicle drop-offs and deliveries. Communicate proactively throughout the repair process, arrange transportation, and handle walk-in estimates, adjusted claims, and preliminary drive-in estimates. Prepare accurate repair estimates, capture repairs, source parts, and schedule work, following up on non-captured repairs to maximize conversion. Map and photograph vehicles, process paperwork, and utilize collision damage estimating systems while ensuring compliance with ABRA policies and safety requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and organized workflows in a collision repair shop environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to dust and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and eligibility under company insurance policy (not an excluded driver)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated sales orientation with the ability to convert estimates into repair orders
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to delivering world-class customer service
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Visual acuity is required to assess repair accuracy and completeness
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of collision repair processes and estimating systems preferred
