Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside the center with products and services while inspecting and maintaining equipment. Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels. Answer questions regarding products and services, prepare rental invoices, accept returned equipment, and install hitches and trailer wiring. Fill propane with certification offered through the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program and drive a forklift with certification provided upon employment. Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields
- Must not use nicotine products
