Job Summary
Conduct store operations, manage customer interactions via phone and in-person, and process transactions through the point-of-sale system. Allocate staff and resources to maintain stocked sales floors, ensuring product delivery meets quality and service expectations. Direct associates during opening and closing shifts, maintain proper merchandise inventory, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Clean and maintain all store areas and equipment while utilizing basic computer skills for store procedures. Requires valid driver's license, ability to operate a company vehicle, and experience in a shift supervisory role. Full-time position with shifts starting as early as 5:00 am and ending as late as 6:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Four years of High School with diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal
- Must be able to legally drive company vehicle
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Read and write English for safety purposes
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute percentages and analyze report data and statistics
- Ability to operate Point-of-Sale computer system and complete cash transactions accurately
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to lift items, such as sundries or containers of paint weighting from 5 to 75 pounds
- Must be capable of performing specifically assigned job duties at, or below, current classification including tinting paint
- Opening shifts may start as early as 5:00 am
- Closing shifts may end as late as 6:30 pm
- Workdays vary depending on location; some are open 7 days per week
