Job Summary
Customer service representative for the Intermodal division based in Carson, CA, handling drayage coordination, data entry, and proactive communication with internal and external customers. Responsibilities include supporting import/export work orders, tracking and tracing freight, maintaining accurate port/rail/customer data, handling inquiries and quotes, clerical tasks (phones, emails, filing), coordinating with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery, communicating availability and forms, adhering to policies, and maintaining knowledge of company services. Requires 1-2 years in dispatching, experience with port drivers or maritime industry, strong communication, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to perform under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in dispatching
- Must have prior experience working with port drivers and/ or maritime industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
