Customer Service/Intake Specialist

Job Summary
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and faxes professionally while delivering excellent customer service across all interactions. Process intake for referrals including State-Funded/Medicaid, set up new client accounts, and update existing account and billing information. Perform accurate data entry across multiple systems, troubleshoot and resolve account-related issues, and scan documentation in accordance with company procedures. Follow up on pending items to ensure timely resolution and communicate any delays impacting deadlines to leadership. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and business information. This 100% remote role requires strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with business hours between 7AM EST to 5PM EST.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work
- Dedicated, quiet home workspace free from distractions
- Ability to use multiple systems and applications simultaneously
- Comfort working with email management systems and internal ticketing or request platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues independently or with IT support
- Monday thru Friday
- Business Hours are between 7AM EST to 5PM EST
- Multiple shifts available
Desired Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a call center or customer service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and general computer skills
- Ability to troubleshoot minor computer and technical issues independently
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
