Job Summary
Coordinate customer service and inside sales by initiating quote processes, managing order entry, and transmitting acknowledgments to clients. Resolve shipping, accounting, and RMA issues while working with production control to meet lead times and inventory forecasts. Monitor in-transit shipments, handle expedited requests, and resolve payment disputes with accounting and buyers. Communicate timely updates to maintain customer satisfaction and reduce cycle times. Travel to customer sites occasionally and cold-call prospects to drive business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to quickly react in order to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to manage in conflict situations with internal and external customers in order to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
- being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
- understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
- understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
- manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
Desired Qualifications
- Printed circuit board manufacturing knowledge
- Working knowledge of all aspects of Inside sales functions
- knowledge to use the Internet
- Decision making skills with respect to matching strategies and capabilities with customer demands well as in interpretation of a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram (print reading) or schedule form
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of manufacturing or PCB experience
