Job Summary
Handle all inquiries and complaints to the Patient Financial Services department regarding patient accounts, including explaining current status, setting up payment arrangements, mailing itemized bills, and rebilling insurance companies. Process financial assistance applications, returned mail, and make recommendations for collection activity while performing cashiering and cash posting functions. Requires one year of insurance billing and/or customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- One year insurance billing and/or customer service or related experience
