Job Summary
The Customer Service Engineer position involves basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair of technology-based products in an end-user environment, such as PCs, laptops, and printers. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, along with the ability to follow established policies. Responsibilities include providing desk-side support, responding to change management requests, performing IMAC activities, and maintaining customer satisfaction metrics. Candidates should possess certifications and relevant experience as well as the ability to manage various equipment safely.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a basic repair kit
- Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction
Desired Qualifications
- A+ certification
- Understanding of ITIL methodologies
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
