The Customer Service Engineer performs troubleshooting and repair tasks in an end-user computing environment, including support for PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. Responsibilities include providing support to VIPs, responding to change management requests, executing Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities, and maintaining a high level of customer service satisfaction. Requires strong communication skills, ability to lift various computer equipment, and a basic repair kit. Technical school certification or equivalent experience of 2-4 years is typically required.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
  • Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
  • Understanding of ITIL methodologies
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction
  • Must own a basic repair kit

Desired Qualifications

  • A+ certification is desired
  • May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required
