Job Summary
The Customer Service Engineer is responsible for performing basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities in an end-user environment, including support for PC's, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. The role requires excellence in communication and customer-facing skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capability to follow instructions with minimal guidance. Responsibilities include desk-side support activities, responding to change management requests, and ensuring established customer service satisfaction levels. Candidates should have technical school certification or equivalent experience, and maintain required OEM Certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
- Understanding of ITIL methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- A+ certification is desired
- May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required
