Job Summary
The Customer Service Engineer position involves intermediate-level tasks related to troubleshooting and repair of technology products in an end-user computing environment. Responsibilities include performing troubleshooting on PCs and peripherals, assisting VIP clients, managing change requests such as installing new equipment, and maintaining service satisfaction levels. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, be able to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs, and own a basic repair kit. A technical school certification or equivalent experience of 2-4 years is typically required, alongside necessary OEM certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
- Understanding of ITIL methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- A+ certification is desired
- Additional customer-specific certifications or training as required
