Job Summary

The Customer Service Engineer performs basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities in an end-user computing environment. Responsibilities include providing support to client identified VIPs, responding to change management requests, and performing Install/Move/Add or Change (IMAC) activities. The role demands excellence in customer service, ability to communicate proactively regarding repair statuses, and adherence to documented service operations policies. Required skills include strong interpersonal communication, ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to handle computer equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
  • Excellence in communication and customer-facing skills
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and processes with minimal instruction
  • Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Must own a basic repair kit

Desired Qualifications

  • A+ certification is desired
  • Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
  • Understanding of ITIL methodologies
  • May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required
