Job Summary
The Customer Service Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing technology-based products like PCs, laptops, and printers in an end-user environment. Key responsibilities include providing desk-side support, responding to change management requests, performing IMAC activities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Candidates must excel in communication and customer-facing skills, follow documented service operations, and be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. A technical school certification or equivalent experience is required, along with knowledge of ITIL methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent of 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware systems
- Understanding of ITIL methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- A+ certification is desired
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- May require additional customer-specific certifications or training as required
