Job Summary
Onsite Customer Service Engineer / System Administrator supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs at Biloxi VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of IT systems; provisioning endpoints (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices); imaging; OS patching and software configuration; user-management with elevated privileges; applying change orders; using ServiceNow for task tracking; analyzing hardware/software issues; monitoring systems; asset management and inventory; performing routine maintenance and equipment refreshes; and traveling up to ~2 weeks every 6 months to VA sites. Requires 8+ years IT experience or a Bachelor’s degree in STEM, US citizenship, and a valid REAL ID or passport. 100% onsite with daytime hours at VA facilities; potential for occasional evening/weekend hours. Provides benefits in addition to salary.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with system administration or BS degree Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline.
