Customer Service Driver Medical Equipment

Job Summary
Delivery, setup and maintenance of medical equipment (including oxygen) and supplies; educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance; provide customer service in-person and over the phone; assist with insurance verification, billing paperwork, and coordination with referral sources; complete administrative tasks such as route planning, invoicing, and data entry; on-call availability; perform duties in compliance with applicable regulatory standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of related work experience in a team-oriented environment, customer service and deliveries
- Experience in medical field and administrative record management
- Strong customer service background
- Knowledge of Durabl e Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
