Job Summary
Dispatcher/Customer Service role supporting Powers Plumbing's San Diego office. Responsible for fielding inbound communications, routing to internal contacts, coordinating scheduling, organizing dispatch schedules for service calls and technicians, acting as point of contact for walk-in customers, communicating policies, and assisting with executive-level operations (booking travel and communications). Maintains social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and must be willing to be remotely on call for scheduling emergencies on some weekends and nights. Requires high school diploma and 1-2 years of administrative/secretarial experience, strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with office equipment. Willingness to learn service-dispatching software and to operate remotely during on-call periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 1-2 years experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, high-energy attitude
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
- Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, Ipads, computers)
- Willing to learn service dispatching software
- The candidate must be willing to be remotely on call for scheduling emergencies some weekends and nights.
