Job Summary
Deliver vehicles to customers' doors using custom car haulers, loading and unloading cars while inspecting the hauler for safety. Complete customer paperwork and input thorough notes into the customer tracking system. Drive safely maintaining a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy. Perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and lifting up to 50lbs in indoor and outdoor conditions. Obtain a Notary license within 90 days and satisfy state-specific requirements for DMV/title access. Work shifts from 7am-5pm, 9am-7pm, or 11am-9pm, with availability for 7 days a week and rotating days off.
Required Qualifications
- at least 2 years of customer-facing experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like detailing vehicles and loading/unloading vehicles onto our haulers in indoor and outdoor conditions with occasional exposure to inclement/extreme weather
- Ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat
- Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items of 50lbs
- Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Must be able to obtain a Notary in your local jurisdiction within the first 90 days of employment
- Candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to access DMV/title and registration systems
- Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri employees must obtain a Chauffeur's license or any other state specialty license within the first two weeks of employment
- California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within the 90 days of employment
- Nevada, Tennessee, and Virginia employees must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment
