Job Summary
Coordinate demand and production scheduling to meet customer orders by integrating customer requirements into the planning system, loading and tracking orders, monitoring safety stock, and ensuring target service levels. Manage EDI/webEDI data, release picking lists when needed, identify and resolve schedule variances between customer forecasts and firm orders, collaborate with logistics platforms, ensure accurate reference parameters (MOQ, lead-time, transportation schedule), prepare necessary customs documentation, and communicate precise information to customer contacts. Regularly assess feasibility of customer programs with internal planning (MPS, procurement, scheduling) and synchronize delivery dates with customers, while proposing action plans to improve service levels and addressing blocking points. Maintain packaging loops, manage returnable packaging, and escalate issues through appropriate channels. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement and align activities with Valeo’s global logistics and supply chain objectives. This role is anchored in a full-time schedule within Valeo’s logistics organization, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and end-to-end supply chain execution.
